Learn how to set stones in silver clay in this one-day masterclass.

Date: Saturday 9th May

Time: 10am - 4pm

Location: Flourish - Craft Corner, Glenavon Farm, Bath Rd, Saltford, Bristol BS31 3TJ

Spend a creative day learning how to set stones in silver clay jewellery - no soldering required!

This is a full-day course where you will learn all about the qualities of silver clay, which stones work best, and how to fire your pieces.

By the end of the day you will have a finished pendant to take home and treasure. All materials are provided, including two stones (one crystal and one cubic zirconia) and I will have a selection for you to choose from on the day.

The workshop runs from 10am - 4pm with an hours break for lunch. You will need to bring your own lunch, or you can visit the on-site cafe and shop to buy something.

This is an intensive course, and we cover lots during the day. Whilst beginners are welcome, if you have not used silver clay or made jewellery before I would recommend you take one of my introduction half-day workshops first. Contact me on rebecca@rebeccalucy.co.uk if you would like to check anything first.

During this workshop you’ll learn two techniques for setting stones in silver clay:

  • The fire-in-place method

  • Using pre-made bezel settings (these will be provided)
